FAQs

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked the most about residential pool servicing. Something else on your mind? Give us a call.

get in touch
  • Regular residential swimming pool maintenance in Perth is recommended fortnightly to monthly, depending on usage, the season, and how exposed your pool is. Over summer when the pool is in heavy use and heat accelerates chemical consumption, more frequent visits are often required. If you’re not sure where your pool is at, an ad-hoc service visit is the best place to start.

  • We service over 15 of Perth’s western suburbs, including Claremont, Cottesloe, Nedlands, Dalkeith, Swanbourne, Peppermint Grove, Mosman Park, Floreat, Wembley, City Beach, Subiaco, Crawley, North Fremantle and the surrounding areas. If your suburb isn’t on the list, it’s still worth asking. Our coverage continues to grow following our merger with Pool Assist.

  • A regular service is a scheduled visit on a fortnightly or monthly basis. We take care of the water chemistry, cleaning, and equipment checks routinely so your pool stays in good condition year-round. An ad-hoc visit is a one-off callout for when something specific has gone wrong or your pool needs attention outside of a regular schedule. If you’ve recently had a new pool installation or moved into a home with a pool you haven’t had assessed yet, a one-off visit is also the best place to begin. We can assess and recommend a plan forward from there.

  • A green pool is usually the result of an algae outbreak caused by a chemical imbalance, and the longer it’s left, the harder it is to treat. In this situation, our technicians will test the water, diagnose the cause, and treat the pool with the right chemicals to bring it back to a safe, clear condition. Depending on the severity, this may take more than one visit. The best way to avoid a green pool altogether is a regular service that keeps your chemistry in check before problems develop.

  • We aim to get back to every enquiry as quickly as possible. For urgent issues, contact us directly by phone and we’ll do our best to get a technician out to you promptly. For non-urgent bookings, get in touch and we’ll find a time that works.
